The best time to blog is when the feeling is still fresh. So here I am.
I had the chance to catch the Qualifying races of the Moto world. And If you know anything about me at all, you know that I love the MotoGP rider Marc Marquez.
Yes, he’s last year’s rookie who took the stage by storm and won the world championship. However, no one expected to dominate the qualifiers on Saturday because he just broke his leg in mid-February…but he did. And oh my word I got tearful. His spirit is just out of this world.
Ah, I had a lot of fun watching his brother Alex raced in the junior Moto3 category. He didn’t win the pole position like Marc did, but he still got second place.
The actual race will be held tomorrow. Sunday. The day that I work…Meaning I will miss both MotoGP and El Clasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Sighhhh.
I declare MotoGP to officially be the most hair-raising sport of all time. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack and I sweat like crazy. It was that exciting.
I made a bet to myself last semester that if I got 3.5+, I’m going to go to the Circuit of the Americas in Texas to see him race…. but it looks like that is not going to happen. For one, it’s expensive, and secondly, I need to save money for living comfortably in Spain this summer.
I was thinking of going to Germany to catch a race there, but my goodness, the flight is expensive, too. And the circuit is located in some city so far away.
In conclusion, I won’t be going to a race in 2014. I’m setting my eyes on next year. I NEED to make it happen.
I’m so tired working in retail. It has been the most physically challenging job…on top of going to school. Sigh.
